RetrieverTech’s FC-Series cameras come integrated with the VisionNow™ software capture and analysis system.   This is a stand-alone software product with a rich graphical user interface that supports image-capture functions, real-time processing functions, and post-processing functions, and real-time streaming to disk.

VisionNow™ software provides a seamless way to examine your captured video images. Our VisionNow™ software comes installed in all of our complete digital video recording systems. If you have additional hardware components in your imaging application, VisionNow™ can tie together and control multiple cameras, automatically detecting and configuring your pre-existing digital camera.   Examples include tracking cameras, multi-spectral systems, and backup imaging devices.

Image acquisition modes include:

Grab Infinite - Images can be grabbed until the user stops the recording

Grab Specified Frames - Only the number of images specified will be grabbed

Live Display Mode – Frames can be saved to memory or recorded to disk

Record Audio – Audio included with image recordings

Network Feature – Synchronize image capture from multiple computers

Via the intuitive GUI, the software can be configured to provide data in many different formats. These include image statistics display, line profile display, and three dimensional area profile display.

Vision Now also manages the backend of our data capture system, with  key features including:

Capturing frames in sequential order, without degradation due to lossy compression or data drops, with a time stamp included with each frame.

VisionNow provides extensive support for data analysis and playback, able to re-play the full-frame video data to the system display at its original frame rate, forward or reverse, and at selected slower or accelerated rates including frame-by-frame.

While in playback, VisionNow displays each video channel in its own window, all of which can be flexibly positioned and sized in any configuration. When the zoom mode “fit to window” is selected, the video images will scale to fit the user-specified window dimensions.

Data can be exported to TIFF, AVI, and RAW file formats.

The entire system can be remotely controlled (start/stop capturing and status information) via the network through a TCP client.

T-Series and C-Series Software

RetrieverTech offers the award-winning V++ software from digital optics as standard software on all of its cameras.   V++ software makes advanced imaging easy, with sophistication, speed, power and windows compatibility all coming together in one seamless package.  The intuitive user interface adheres to all the accepted conventions for a windows product so you probably already know how to use it!

Multiple choice menus allow for a variety of cameras to be run off of the same controller, without any additional hardware requirements.   Customized imaging solutions are offered by RetrieverTech to accommodate your unique imaging needs.
